P90x Week 12, the home stretch…. wheres the motivation

Technically I’m on week 12. I feel semi-discouraged. I’ve lost weight and added an insane amount of muscle since starting, but I was really hoping by this point I would have better looking abs. My core is strong as hell, but I don’t like the pretty models. Guess my body just isnt’ like that.
I have been training with my MIA muay thai team and I’m getting too anxious to fight. I need to find a place here locally in SLC to train on mats. I can’t afford to go to the UCTC, but I need to do it anyway.
I figure get two fights under my belt, fight once or twice a month and it will pay for my UCTC fees. I also heard Mike will let people to train for free if he likes them….. guess I got to work on my charm, not just my right cross.

I have not read the rest of th eblog, but as per any work out program, the older you are the more dilligent you have to be with dialing in your diet. You want sick abs, ad a little more cardio to your workout, and see about wher eyou are gettign the extra carbds from you daily intake.
BTW, Smurf says you are into Martial arts. (She directed me to your site.) We can chat sometime.

The abs will come, that last layer of fat is a PAIN to get off! Dedication, diet and cardio are the keys!
